What is your opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Product Owner to join our growing Armory Tech team. In this position, you will help evolve software products through the product lifecycle. The PO is responsible for driving the realization of high-value capabilities for tools and technology that will be utilized by Square Enix Montréal mobile game development teams. The successful candidate will closely collaborate with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the delivered product meets the needs of stakeholders.

Responsabilities

• Defining the vision of the product(s);
• Managing the product(s) backlog;
• Prioritizing features and oversee development stages;
• Actively involved in mitigating risk to successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
• Working with Project Managers on feature delivery processes & proposing improved workflows;
• Working with team developers and QA to identify cost / development options and risks
• Interacting with various teams involved in product development;
• Researching and analyzing market, the users, the third-parties and the roadmap for the product;
• Following competitors and the industry.

Experience and qualifications

• Experience as Product Manager, Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment;
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum;
• Able to write and analyze user stories, epics;
• Knowledge of every steps of a Project;
• Able to identify the business needs and challenge them if needed;
• Ability to transform the business needs into concrete deliverables;
• Able to take decisions and own them.
