Duties
- Develop game features that monetize and engage players;
- Optimize monetization based on player feedback and metrics;
- Collect and analyze game metrics and propose necessary changes and improvements;
- Write design documents and present them to the team and executives;
- Determine and iterate on new sources of possible monetization;
- Work closely with the development team to bring new features into the game;
- Work with the franchise team to discover new ways to monetize a franchise;
- Any other relevant tasks.
Experience and qualifications
- University or college diploma in game design, or equivalent training, (diploma in Economics is an asset);
- 3 years and more of experience in the video game industry as an Economic Game Designer;
- Good Knowledge of Game Designs and what makes a game fun;
- Good Mathematic and analytics skills;
- Understanding of consumer psychology and pricing strategies;
Interpersonal Qualities
- Excellent communication skills and able to easily illustrate his ideas;
- Able to work on multiple tasks;
- Able to collaborate with other departments (design, art, animation, narrative, progs., management, etc.);
- Be at ease in a team driven by constant improvements;
- Capable of quick-learning, and to share what he learned with others;
- Be professional to give and receive constructive feedback.
